Another recap of #EduDCision14

From an email:
Last night's Mayoral Candidate Education Forum was a HUGE success! We, along with a host of dedicated community organizations (listed below), sponsored an engaging forum focused on education that was not only well attended but also allowed us to hear from each of the mayoral candidates on their education platform. If you were not able to make it never fear! The education forum from last evening is online for you to watch: http://www.dceducationelection.org

In addition to last nights forum, the mayoral candidates were asked to fill out a education questionnaire. All three mayoral candidates completed the questionnaire and you can read their responses at http://www.dceducationelection.org/mayoral-candidates-on-education/.

We are proud and very honored to have sponsor the event last night (and grateful for our ability to continuously work in coalition) with the following groups:
Ward 7 Education Council
Ward 2 Education Network
Senior High Alliance of Parents Principals and Educators (S.H.A.P.P.E.)
Ward 4 Education Alliance
Ward 8 Council on Education
Capitol Hill Public Schools Parent Organization (CHPSPO)
Empower DC
Education Town Hall
21st Century School Fund
Ward 1 Education Collaborative
Teaching for Change
